--About Us

The chapel is named in memory of Mrs. Emma Anderson, mother of J.G. Anderson, Sr.  Mr. J.G. Anderson, Sr. was one of the original developers at Topsail Beach, NC and through his generosity Emma Anderson Memorial Chapel (EAMC) was established in 1951 (circa).  The above photograph is dated June 18, 1953.

EAMC is a Protestant non-denominational church that has a unique ministry to ministers that features a guest minister each week.  The guest minister and family has use of the chapel parsonage located second row from the beach.  This is our gift to the minister.

During the summer months, we have a very active children's/youth program.  This program is led by a summer youth director.
